CAD Design Engineer (Solidworks/AutoCAD)

Job Title: CAD Design Engineer (Renewable Energy)

Location: Kent

Salary: £25k-35k

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced CAD Design Engineer to join a rapidly growing Renewable Energy firm in Kent. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing innovative CAD solutions to meet the customer requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

* Produce 3D CAD models for the design of components and assemblies

* Develop and maintain CAD drawings and associated documentation

* Collaborate with other departments to ensure the accuracy of designs

* Produce accurate bills of materials and engineering drawings

* Provide technical support to customers and internal staff

* Keep up to date with the latest technologies and software

* Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

Technical Skills Required:

* Proven experience in the design of mechanical components

* Knowledge of CAD software and 3D modelling

* Ability to read, analyse and interpret technical drawings

* Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

* Experience in design for manufacture and assembly

* Knowledge of engineering principles and materials

* Good understanding of health and safety regulations

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
