Air Conditioning Engineer

The person will be a service engineer for 90% of the role. Most of the role is local servicing of air conditioning units and closed control units in laboratories and office buildings. The candidate must show ability to be able to do small plumbing and general M&E tasks as well. Such as changing water filters on Zip units and just being more than a basic engineer. The candidate will be shown the process to change them.

The area of work is mostly currently from Bicester to Winchester on A34 and M4 corridor to London. We have also a contract in Canary Wharf for 2 days a week attendance. These are brand new clean rooms labs. They will involve additional out of hours a/c servicing as well. We have sites in Brentford, Wembley, Brixton, Hayes, Gatwick as well.

We are looking for a person who has served time in their current role and wishes to find a new direction. The work is not only varied but we have built a fantastic client base, and all are happy to see us on service visits and repairs. From areas of Harwell and research centres / space centres, private hospitals etc.

The employee reports back to the service manager.

We would require the candidate to have F-gas certification and appropriate training for air conditioning. Pasma and CSCS card are also beneficial to all. Clean Driving Licence also beneficial.

The team here are friendly and helpful with new employees. We all have a positive outlook to working and any employee will be expected to work to the same ethics. Our engineers work on an early start for an early finish to their days. Overtime is also available when required. We work a 40hrs on site and 10hr travel a week. Anything over this is at the appropriate overtime rate.
